Clannad After 23 (special episode)

It was one year before Tomoya meets Nagisa for the first time. She realises that she was not in the same class with some of her old friends and bumped into Tomoya after her old friend, Kimura, leaves for her new class as well. Tomoya and Sunohara are doing some odd tasks assigned to them for attempting to escape from the class and Kyou was to look after them since she was the class rep. Tomoya saves her from the falling planks and it made her introduce herself to the both of them afterwards. Nagisa returns home and Akio teaches her some wierd things that she could do to make new friends or to start a conversation but he runs after Sanae again after he criticised her bread again. Kyou finds Tomoya sleeping on the grass and attempts to wake him up since class was about to start. She then thinks that he actually looked quite cool there when Sunohara appears and predicted what Kyou was thinking. However, Sunohara received a punch from Kyou before he was able to reveal what she was thinking. Kimura brings her new friend out with Nagisa and tries to let her make new friends. Back at Kyou's home, Ryou predicts that someone was going to confess to her tomorrow and Sunohara was also planning to shock her with a love letter he wrote. The next day, Kyou discovers the letter and was shocked but decided to follow the letter to different locations. She finally discovered that they were behind that and gave them a nice beating. Sunohara then decides to pull a prank on the first-years and Tomoya helped in making the note in the prop used for the prank. Nagisa was the only one that pulled the string to activate the prop and was knocked out by a basin. Her classmate then attempts to make friends with Nagisa which turned out to be fine. Returning home, Nagisa tells Akio and Sanae about it and shows them the note that Tomoya made with gave her courage.

*so Tomoya and Nagisa were quite close in the past with quite frequent encounters with each other. the love letter part was hilarious too, haha... Sunohara is just too simple-minded... the next episode seems to be a recap of the whole series though... i had hoped for a Tomoyo After...*

Toradora! 24

Ryuuji decides to run after Taiga and Minori and him splits up and rushes to locate Taiga. Minori realises that Taiga was at the entrance and shouts to her, telling her that she loves Ryuuji too but like Taiga has said, she should seek her own happiness as well. Ryuuji and Minori reach the entrance but Taiga had already gone off. Minori then asks Ryuuji if he likes Taiga and after revealing his true feelings for Taiga, Ryuuji runs off to find her. Taiga meanwhile was walking to her job at the cake shop when she was shocked to see Ryuuji already there waiting for her. The two of them then took the paycheck and left when both Yasuko and Taiga's mum stop them and tries to bring them back home. Ryuuji was then pulled by Taiga away after he got into a fierce conversation with Yasuko and the two of them runs off. Ryuuji learns that Taiga's father business had failed and it would do her no good to go to live with her mum as well. Ryuuji then feels that it would be better if he was not born and it would not give Yasuko hardships. Taiga prevents him from saying that and accidentally pushes him into the river below. Ryuuji tells Taiga that he will be eighteen soon and will marry her then. Taiga, being shocked, jumps down to him as well and the both of them was about to confess to each other when Kitamura called Ryuuji to ask them to meet at Ami's house. There, the two of them reveals that they are going to run away and the trio helps them out. When Taiga and Ryuuji leaves, Minori breaks down and talks about that when one trips in life, one would cry. Ryuuji and Taiga quickly go to pack their own things when Ryuuji discover Yasuko's letter and tells him to find his grandparents. Haruta and the others then starts to wonder about Taiga and Ryuuji's absence while Ami gets snowballed by Minori after she attempts to ask her if she was going to see them off. Meanwhile, Taiga and Ryuuji were already in the train and starts to have lunch before going to Ryuuji's grandparents and revealing that Taiga was his wife.

*wow... a fast progress made in this epi... now it seems better since the both of them are now truthful to their feelings, but i'm not sure if the anime follows the novel too... Minori is still quite a chim character to me since she's always linking everything to one's life which is chim. anyway the next episode seems that Ryuuji returned to school again so maybe something has happened =O*
