WARNING! IMAGE HEAVY!

AFAX has closed last weekend and it was a thrilling and another fun experience at the 3rd year of AFA. There are rumours going around that AFA 2011 might not be in SG anymore, which is quite likely as this is an Asian event, but definitely, i would hope that AFA could stay on in SG :) Leaving that aside, this year was a blast! Much much more artiste coming over which gives rise to the higher pricing of the tickets. For the 1st day, there was the movie screening of Gundam 00 Movie, which was a laughable one (i mean srsly, it wasn't good), and then, the much awaited Kana Hanazawa live dubbing session which she dubbed scenes from Angel Beats! and also BRS. Danny Choo was able to fish out some nice information as well, which hinted that BRS would soon be getting a series too. (next year probably) Had queued for COSPA right at the start of the day too and finally got the special handphone straps which went out of stock the 2nd day, limited stock yea... This year's AFA had focused more on BRS and Vocaloids too after seeing Good Smiles Company's glass cabinets being FILLED with them and also the bringing in of Project Diva arcade which its waiting time for free play was approx 60mins. Managed to spot Kaname on day 1 as well too :D Day 2 then started with the movie screening of The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya which lasted for approx 2hr 30mins and it was TOTALLY great! Loved it. Stage activities for Day 2 was more packed and had to forfeit watching the regional cosplay comp to have time for lunch before returning for the Kaname and Aira panel. So the 2 renowned cosplayers came as BRS vers on day 2 with Aira cosplaying as BRS and Kaname as BRS Kaito vers. They too, had entertained the crowd with suggestions on poses a cosplayer should or should not do but they still look good even with the supposedly bad poses :D Headed down to RapidCulture to get my 1st weib schwarz booster back of Angel Beats! as well and got 4 out of 8 from Angel Beats!, sadly there weren't any foils, considering getting more in the future xD Overall, AFAX was an enjoyable event as always, hoping AFA to come to SG again soon (or remain as it is :D) sayonara!~
