No idea what to put here

been blessed with 2 long weekends and *blinks*, its gonna be over soon D:

went out for most of the days over the long weekend, went back to school to collect my cert, feels somewhat nostalgic in school environment. looks like people are starting to mug in the fast food chains too, Elias Mac FTW!

took a little trip down to sentosa as a family, been years since we last went there together. Sentosa has really changed, too "industrialised" I would say. Though I had a "first-look" before I enlisted, it really brings back memories of out Sentosa was like in the past, with Beach Station being really able to see the beach so clearly, unlike the large metal building of iFLY. Saw a peacock roaming around freely too, got a few snaps too, kinda nt sure where's the photo now, will try to find it soon.

There was a new addition to Sentosa's RWS too with a mini food court named as Malaysian Street Stalls (or something like that). Where it was similar to the one at Singapore Flyer where they sold Singapore traditional food with the place modeled as old Singapore Streets, this was identical in their concept and were selling Malaysian Street food. Had tried their Nasi Lemak, which the rice was absolutely fabulous, Char Kway Teow and Hokkien Mee, in Malaysian style and they were so different from the ones we have in Singapore. The Char Kway Teow wasn't all black, the La Chang was kinda sweet too and the chilli was a blast. Their Hokkien Mee was thick noodles covered in heavy black sauce that seems interesting, both in look and in the taste itself. Then the final blast came from Ice Kachang and Chendol, Malaysian style! Their Chendol was similar, but with a very strong taste of coconut milk. Ice Kachang had faily large red beans and instead of multi coloured toppings, it had a strong taste of rose syrup / bandung. Awesome foodstuff I would say, good to head there to try something new!

Rest of the days that I was stranded at home, I went to cover the series of Jormungand and their 12 episodes had me sitting at the edge of my seat every single time. It was a series that would make weapon-lovers swoon over their range of destructive equipments but the details and animation that the producers have made the series to be were extremely detailed in terms of the weapon specification, looks, and minor parts such as even the bullet shells and rifle ejection ports. Story wise the series had covered arcs in short span of 2-3 episodes but I would applause this series for it's action scenes and climatic animations.

New seasons arriving and with a rather updated chart from neregate, here's probably some of the series that I might be looking to.

P.S. this upcoming season is really promising!

Magi (A-1 Pictures)
Robotics;Notes (Production I.G.) yay! another sci-fi! have been waiting for another one to come by after Steins;Gate had ended :)
Seitokai no Ichizon S2 definitely watching this :D
Jormungand S2 12 episodes for the 1st season was too short and I'm more than happy to have more action
Kyousogiga the ova was wonderful, animation was pretty unique, not complaining here
Little Busters! have been hearing about this series for quite some time as a VN, so I'll give this series a go to see what it really is.
Hayate no Gotoku finally.finally.finally.

YEAH! awesome season is coming soon! :)

and here's a rather nice song from Shuffle! (din't watch the series but the song is really good!)

6 months down!

6 months down, 16 months to go! :X

Been a long time since I've entered an entry and it's bout time to, din't really want this old "logbook" to die off since I can really look at "literally" my own past from here haha.

Loving my current unit now, everyone's bonded together and I guess it'll be great for this compulsory remaining 16 months of my NS career. Looking back at these 6 months, I've essentially went to many places, ate loads of things and made many, many new friends.

CHIOMP CHOMP was simply awesome. Never did knew such a wonderful food haven was nearby *quite* until I was brought there :D The jumbo sized sugar cane with lemon juice is just WOW. Awesome size and refreshing too. Went to Marina Square a few weeks back, went bowling and had dinner, didn't really had a good score, just a few strikes with straight lines between them. Life's got their ups and downs too!

and on Friday, PartyWorld!

fun time singing all the oldies and shouting out loud. WOOOOOOOOO

has been a long time since I visited the Singapore Botanic Gardens so it's a "let's go" thing yesterday and I headed there with my family. Couldn't really remember how it was like in the past, unlike Sentosa which I daresay it's almost a complete split image of what it was in the past compared to now. The Symphonia stage is a wonderful place, with the slopes around it designed in an auditorium seating style despite being an open stage. Saw some quirky animals too, squirrels, swallow, swan, terrapins, pond skaters, etc. Had a hard time getting the squirrels on camera though, were too fast D: thankfully some were abit lazy and *snap*, here it is:

This season's offer of anime series was promising, but till now, one have become rather disappointing, kinda like Guilty Crown in the last season. Accel World started out strong, IMO their downfall came when the story started to head towards no significant plot, fanservice became blatant and just plain boring. Eureka Seven Ao's on a break, but has gradually proved it's worth as a sequel with more interesting facts and direct influences on its 1st season, Sword Art Online is still going strong, mainly due to the eye-catching MMORPG setting and UI that they display in the series. Hyouka has had it's up and down, but it's picking up pace now, the author of Hyouka is a wonderful writer (the 1st two arcs were fairly engaging), which was why I chose to pick them up over at Kinokuniya yesterday. Been waiting for them for quite some time!

Caught a glimpse of next season's airing chart and I would say it's gonna be an exciting season, (at least compared to the one now). Some of the old pages here are quite old, would fix them up soon, probably by next week. :)

Randoms: So many things I wanna do now in NS, since prolly cos of more time to think about what I wanna do in my life. Would be heading to SUTD to study after I complete my NS, still aint too sure bout what I'm gonna do yet but its a start :) Wanna learn roller blading, wanna learn playing an electric guitar, wanna form a band, wanna learn Jap, wanna go overseas *___* GAH, now that's random... ~__~
